China international exhibition of medical equipment (CMEF)
The 82st China International Medical Equipment Fair – Shanghai – spring 2020
The China international exhibition of medical equipment (CMEF) was established in 1979 and it held twice in the year in spring and autumn in Shenzhen and Shanghai. Shenzhen date is late in October every year and Shanghai is in late April (dates changes every year and these dates are approximate) to host this important exhibition. After 30 years of innovation and hard work, this exhibition become the most important in medical equipment exhibitions and related products and services in Asia. It widely covers thousands of medical equipment like photographic equipment, diagnostics, electronics, optics, first aid and nursing fields. In fact CMEF is the main supplier of equipment in medical industry from producer to customer.
Simultaneous medical equipment exhibitions
Another important point about this exhibition is holding of several exhibitions in the same time and place in the field of health. Medical equipment was a major issue in past years but now you will see a full range of health industry in the exhibition which they are in following:
- PHARMCHINA and ALPCHINA: pharmaceutical and packing equipment
- NHNE and NHI: natural products, agriculture and healthy food exhibition
Actually these exhibitions held in a place, in spring and in Shanghai. Each of them is held annually in other cities of China like Beijing, Guangzhou and Nanjing.
- ICMD: Familiarity with modern design and products
This exhibition or show is a coincide event with CMEF which is specially for designing new products. The medical engineers and R&D managers will be the main audiences of this exhibition. Last course was the 27th period of the exhibition which covers all of the needs for technical requirements from software to large advanced equipment.
CMEF Statistics of last periods
In the last period of Shanghai international medical equipment exhibition, it had about 4200 participants from 28 countries. 120 thousand visitors from 150 countries visited this exhibition. This exhibition was held in about 220 thousand square meters and by an incredible statistics, 70 meetings, conferences or side events held in the exhibition and 600 new products have been shown in the exhibition.
Visiting CMEF
Registration for entrance card costs 100 yuan per visit, but you can register for exhibition from their official site to save money and get rid of paying that 100 yuan fee and lose less time on the day of visit for registration. The Chinestan group is special organizer of China’s exhibition tours and it is ready to send visitors for visiting these events and if you participate in Chinestan tours you wont need to register for exhibition online, of course. By coordination of Chinestan with organizers, registration will be done free and in a group.

The organizer of the exhibition is Joette Vancherry from the famous Reed company and the greatest therapy group of China, Reed Sinopharm. This exhibition is a member of UFI world trade fair.
